Chelsea Bullard is the co-founder of Oak and Fig Homestead in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, alongside her husband, Austin. She has a family of her own and brings nearly two decades of hands-on experience in child development, schooling, childcare, and family support. Chelsea has dedicated her career to creating nurturing, educational environments where children and teens can grow through outdoor learning, animal care, curriculum-based classes, and life skills development. At Oak and Fig Homestead, she blends practical, experiential learning with compassionate guidance, supporting traditional family values while accommodating the unique needs of homeschoolers, gifted learners, and children who benefit from individualized, supportive approaches.

Austin Bullard, BS, is the co‑founder of Oak and Fig Homestead in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, where he brings his passion for hands‑on learning and real‑world skills to life. With a degree in mechanical engineering and more than a decade of experience as a handyman, Austin leads practical, experiential activities for older kids that build confidence, problem‑solving ability, and mechanical understanding. He oversees daily responsibilities such as animal care and chore coordination, while teaching life skills like tool safety, construction basics, project planning, and perseverance. Austin’s focus on experiential learning helps students feel capable and engaged as they explore real work, gain independence, and connect what they learn to meaningful tasks around the homestead.

Karina Schneidman, MBA, MS, is a behavioral science clinician and holistic coach with advanced training in Marriage and Family Therapy and Organizational Psychology. She holds a Master of Science in Behavioral Health and an MBA in Operations, blending clinical insight with strategic systems thinking to support children, teens, and families. She specializes in neurodivergent learning, brain health, anxiety, and holistic wellness, offering both on-site and off-site support that helps learners build coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience. She is certified in areas including special education, brain health strategies, and neurodivergence support, and works closely with families to provide individualized learning support, behavioral guidance, and practical tools for navigating challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, and developmental differences. Her integrative approach combines clinical expertise with compassionate coaching to empower children and their families toward long-term growth and well-being.

Casey Mae Headley is a dedicated educator with an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural and Engineering studies. With a strong foundation in design principles, technical knowledge, and problem-solving, she brings clarity and creativity to her teaching practice. Her academic background allows her to approach learning with structure, precision, and thoughtful planning.
As a teacher, Casey is committed to creating supportive, engaging environments where students feel encouraged to grow, explore, and build confidence in their abilities. She values connection, curiosity, and practical learning, and she strives to empower others through knowledge, mentorship, and care. Through her work, Casey continues to inspire thoughtful learning and purposeful growth.
